Mumbai : Raj Khandwala (CCI) hit the perfect form in registering three consecutive victories in the Group ‘O’ round-robin league matches of the SPG-Park Club Billiards Tournament – 2015, jointly organised by the Shivaji Park Gymkhana and Park Club. Khandwala first defeated Deepak Khubchandani (KG) 266-245 and also beat Vikram Nerlekar (SPG) 286-160 to complete two wins. He again scored another win against Deepak Ahire (DPCG) by 235-178 points. Khandwala is now qualified for the second phase.
Loukic Pathare (CG) also had two successive victories in Group ‘C’ league. Pathare first scored easy win over Carl Serrao (DG) 300-135 and in the second game defeated Amit Joshi (MCF) 239-180 and now have a good chance to qualify for the next round. Carl Serrao (DG) who was beaten in the first game managed to get a win by scoring a victory against Amit Joshi (MCF) by 308-129 points. In the Group ‘A’ league match Shushrut Pandya (PJHG) won a very close match defeating Nikhil Saigal (KG) 211-201 and in Group ‘B’ match Harmehr Mago (KG) beat Akshay Gogri (ECC) 224-202.
