Dhruvpal Godara shines in V Polo’s victory

Mumbai: After scoring five goals in a losing side on Monday against Su Che, Dhruvpal Godara came up with another brilliant performance scoring a whopping 10 goals taking V Polo to a 12-7 Victory against Madon Polo in the ARC Silver Stick 6 ball Polo Tournament played at the ARC grounds in Mahalaxmi racecourse here on Tuesday.

In a close battle Simran Shergill of Madon Polo and Dhruvpal Godara of V Polo shard four goals equally, in the first chukker. The same prevailed at the end of the second chucker as teams shared honours in a 5-5 scoreline, with Simran scoring two goals. However, the entire encounter took a different turn, when Dhruvpal stepped up in the 3rd chukker finding the target thrice, while Madon Polo only managed one helping V Polo to take a 8-6 lead. And this set them on a winning track as another spectacular show scoring four moags in the final chucker, taking the game away from Madon Polo in their 12-7 final verdict.

Result: V Polo: 12 (Dl Godara 10, V Nihlani 2) bt Madon Polo: 7 ( S Shergill 5, K Singh Rathore 2
