India’s Shreyas Iyer was dismissed cheaply by England on Day 4 of the ongoing fifth Test and the trap was set by none other than Three Lions head coach Brendon McCullum.
Iyer was caught by James Anderson off the bowling of Matty Potts for 19. England skipper Ben Stokes placed three fielders out catching for a shot to a short ball, and Iyer fell for it.
And it was perfectly set up by former New Zealand skipper McCullum. The Kiwi was seen signaling to the England players to pepper Iyer with short ball.
McCullum is well aware of Iyer's weakness having coached the IPL team KKR captained by the India batsman.
