BJP President JP Nadda, during his visit to Pune on Saturday, prayed for strength for PM Narendra Modi to fight terrorism and for a strong response to terrorist acts, particularly the recent attack in Pahalgam. Speaking at the Shrimant Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple, Nadda said that he prayed for good law and order across the country and the elimination of foreign powers that threaten peace.

Nadda was warmly welcomed by Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol, Trust President Sunil Rasne, Treasurer Mahesh Suryavanshi, and other dignitaries. At the event, Trust Chief Secretary and MLA Hemant Rasne highlighted the social initiatives of the Trust. Nadda emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India would overcome the crisis with strength, intelligence, and power, ensuring that those responsible for terrorism are held accountable.

"I came here to seek blessings of Ganpati Bappa. The way a cowardly attack took place in Jammu & Kashmir, the entire country is angry, and they are hoping that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a strong reply to this attack," he told reporters.

On Saturday, he met the families of Pahalgam terror attack victims Santosh Jagdale and Kaustubh Ganbote here while also stating that those responsible for the massacre will get a befitting reply.

The entire country is hoping that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a strong response to the April 22 attack in which 26 persons were killed, he said.

The Union minister met the Jagdale family at their residence in Karvenagar, followed by a visit to the Ganbote family in Kondhwa area.

He offered tributes to the garlanded photos of Jagdale and Ganbote and spoke with their family members, offering condolences.
