Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge on Wednesday inaugurated a new water pump at the Chikhali water treatment plant in Patilnagar, a significant step in improving water supply to approximately 90,000 residents in Chikhali and its adjoining areas.
Landge took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce, "To facilitate water supply to about 90 thousand citizens of Chikhali and the surrounding area, a separate pump has been installed to supply water to the aqueduct at Patilnagar through a direct pipe from the Chikhali water treatment center."
Additionally, Landge, accompanied by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Commissioner Shekhar Singh and PCMC's town planning officers, visited Charholi village to oversee road development initiatives.
Landge shared, "PCMC will develop 90-meter DP roads at Wadmukhwadi, Tajne Mala, Pathare Wasti, and Bhosale Wasti. This will enhance PCMC's connectivity to Lohegaon Airport, Pune-Nagar Road, and Pune-Solapur Road. Out of the 9,563 metres of roads, 7,803 metres have already been developed."
