The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) CD Deshmukh Institute of Administrative Education in Thane will soon begin the preparatory guidance class for aspiring students who want to appear for administrative examinations. Applications have been invited from the students who want to get admission to free guidance classes. TMC chief Dr Vipin Sharma has appealed to the students to come ahead and get the benefit of free guidance classes.
CD Deshmukh Administrative Training Institute, run by Thane Municipal Corporation, is a leading institute providing free guidance to the students appearing for the examinations conducted by the Central Public Service Commission (UPSC). Also, the TMC is the only corporation in India to run such an administrative training institute.
A senior official from the institute said, "The institute has organized a competitive exam preparatory guidance course for the students who want to sit for the competitive examination and have passed the Higher Secondary Examination and Diploma Examination and are currently in the first or second year of the degree course. Students who have obtained at least 70% marks in Science, Commerce, Arts and Diploma Course in Higher Secondary Examination are eligible to apply for admission in this class. However, aspiring students can apply for higher secondary examination from 11 am to 5 pm during office hours from 4th July 2022 to 29th July 2022, along with two copies of the school leaving certificate and stamp size photograph. The application should be submitted in the form. Students should note that applications received by post, courier as well as e-mail will not be accepted or considered."
The syllabus of the entrance examination and all the information and instructions related to the examination has been made available on the notice board of the institute as well as on the website of Thane Municipal Corporation wwww.thanecity.gov.in and on the website of the institute www.cdinstitute.net and www.cdinstitute.in.
Expert guidance and well-equipped library:
At the training centre, students prepare for competitive exams under the guidance of experts. The institute has an up-to-date library and magazines from all over the world which are useful for competitive examinations and it has been made available to the students here. Every year the municipal administration buys a large number of essential books for the library. Also, the study is open for students from 8 am to 10 pm and a WiFi-internet facility is also provided free of cost.
