Mumbai recorded its hottest day of the year so far on Monday when the daytime temperature touched 39.6 degrees Celsius. The Met Department has predicted more hot weather, and the way things stand, the city could end up breaking its hottest March day record of 41.7 degrees Celsius, recorded back in 1956.

Even if 'black' happens to be your favorite color, it could drain you out in the hot sun. It is suggested to wear white clothes, since they don't absorb yet reflect the heat and light energy.

Having a large meal which is protein rich can heat up one's body, making us loose the cool during summer. The increase in metabolic heat due to such meal, could be soothed by alternative protein rich shakes or fruit diet.
