In order to resolve queries and provide guidance regarding the assessment process for Class X students, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has appointed officers in every division with helpline numbers and email addresses.
On Monday, the MSBSHSE released a notice stating, “Officers in each board division namely Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Latur, Konkan, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati and Aurangabad will provide guidance regarding the SSC assessment process. Helpline numbers and email ids have been created for this purpose.”
For Mumbai division, Mushtak Shaikh, additional secretary, Giridhar Bhoj, additional secretary and SS Phathak, senior superintendent will provide guidance. These officers can be reached at sschsc.mumbaiboard@gmail.com.
A senior official of MSBSHSE, Mumbai division, said, “We will address queries raised by schools, teachers and students regarding the assessment process.”
Academic program to be aired on TV
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will air an educational program 'Gyanganga' on DD Sahyadri channels from June 14 for students of Classes I to XII. State school education minister Varsha Gaikwad said, “The program comprising class-wise curriculum will be aired from Monday to Friday between 7.30 am to 3.30 pm. In the first phase, academic programs for Class X Marathi and English medium as well as all three branches of Class XII will be aired. Academic programs for other classes will also be aired soon.” This decision has been taken keeping in mind that schools are still closed offline due to Covid-19.
