Mumbai : After about a month of sweltering heat, Mumbaikars are heading towards a wet spell according to the Colaba observatory. It has recorded a rainfall of 5.3 mm while the Santacruz observatory has recorded a rainfall of 16.6 mm on Monday. “The city is indeed heading for a wet spell in the next few days but it cannot be predicted if it will rain on Ganesh Chaturthi. We will only be able to confirm it on Thursday,” said V K Rajeev, director (Western region) of the meteorological department.
