The chargesheet filed by the Borivali police in connection with the fake Covid-19 vaccination drive conducted at Mansi Stocks and Shares revealed that one of the main accused, Mahendra Pratap Singh, had even rolled out the fake vials to his acquaintances to earn profit. This is the third chargesheet filed by the Mumbai police.

In the chargesheet, the police have mentioned that Mahendra Singh knew the advisor and husband of the owner of Ishita Pharma due to his connection with the Malad Medical Association. In April, this year, Singh approached the doctor and offered to conduct a vaccination drive for their employees through Shivam Hospital, Charkop. Believing the offer to be legitimate, the doctor agreed to get four vials at Rs 4,250 each. Singh delivered 38 vials instead. The doctor was asked to administer the remaining vials to others and charge them accordingly. The chargesheet said that the remaining vaccines were administered at a cost of Rs 500 each. The witness administered vaccines to at least 252 people from the vials procured through Singh.
