Bhayandar : The Naya Nagar police have arrested a 23-year-old call centre executive on charges of raping his 28-year-old collea-gue in Mira Road. According to the police, the accused identifi-ed as Shahrukh Javed Khan (23), had been flirting with the complainant for the past cou-ple of months under the false pretext of marriage. However, despite repeated pleas, Khan flatly refused to marry her pro-mpting the woman to break ties with him. Irate over being ignored, Khan started stalking the victim and finally forced her to one of the hotel rooms in Mira Road on Wednesday and sexually exploited her thr-eatening her with death. Horrified, the victim remained silent that day but later must-ered courage and revealed about the ordeal to her brother and registered a complaint.
