BEST introduces Magic Mix for its employees to get rid of tobacco

Mumbai: In a bid to create awareness amongst the employees of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) has organised Tobacco Free world 2019 at Wadala bus depot and launched the Magic Mix for the tobacco consumers.

Chairman of the BEST committee, Anil Patankar, Sunil Ganacharya, committee member and other officials from the electricity supply were also present in the event. BEST health department has introduced Magic Mix, a substitute to tobacco as many of the BEST employees are addicted to tobacco consumption. As nicotine present in tobacco is responsible for its high dependency and 97 per cent of addicts fail to quit tobacco due to its withdrawal/craving symptoms.

Magic Mix helps to overcome these withdrawal/craving symptoms thereby to help to quit Tobacco habits. Magic Mix has created a magic amongst the BEST employees for Tobacco Free BEST Campaign.  Magic Mix does not required to spit and on swallowing gives various health benefits. Cinnamon of Magic Mix helps to overcome withdrawal symptoms of Nicotine present in Tobacco.  The Magic Mix also helps to controls Diabetes, Blood pressure, Cholesterol and Obesity. There is positive environment has been created amongst the employees to quit their tobacco habit.

“Magic Mix will be substitute for the tobacco consumers, slowly it will end the dependency of the consumer on tobacco without any side effects. Almost 5000 tobacco addict employees have given up their tobacco habit till now. There is significant reduction cases in tobacco related disease and its expenditure. The improvement in the cleanliness of driver’s cabin in buses and the premises of BEST Undertaking. In past five years, BEST has spent just Rs.10,000 on Tobacco Free BEST Campaign,” said an official from BEST health department.
