Dewas : A Kothmir village resident youth was shot dead by two unidentified miscreants on Saturday night in Kannod police station area.
The Kannod police have registered the case against the unidentified accused.
According to Kannod police, Om Prakash S/ O Jagdish Jat ( 27) was on the field of Satyanarayan Jat with his two mates in the jungle of Kotmir at around 8: 30 pm. He and his friends fleshed torch when they heard some sound produced by two unidentified hunters who supposedly had come to hunt down dears in the area. The torch flashing scared the hunters and when Om Prakash approached towards the sound, either of the
hunters dodged a bullet killing him on the spot. Knnod Police was informed immediately and the body was taken to a hospital. One case has been registered against unknown persons.
This incident is apparently a clear indication of the fact that forest animal killing gangs are on the loose and are a big threat for people as well.
