Indore : A woman and her daughter-in-law got into brawl over filling of water from a municipal tap which resulted in woman being beaten and hit on the head with a brick by her son and daughter-in-law. The woman has been admitted to a hospital.
According to Sadar Bazaar police, the incident occurred in Juna Risala on Sunday afternoon. A case has been registered against Parvez Sheikh and his wife Julekha on the complaint from Femida wife of Abdul Latif Sheikh.
Femida told the police that she was filling water from the municipal tap and had an argument with her daughter-in-law over the same. Julekha went back home but returned later with her husband, Femida’s son and the duo beat her up and hit her on head with a brick.
Femida was taken to the hospital and then to the police station to file the complaint.
