RATLAM (MADHYA PRADESH): Western Railway on Wednesday announced recommencement of August Kranti Rajdhani Express between Mumbai Central and Hazrat Nizamuddin and also announced the extension of the long distance trains passing through Ratlam railway station. Only confirmed ticket passengers will be allowed to travel and will have to follow Covid protocols and SOP, said an official of Ratlam Rail Division.
Running of the August Kranti Rajdhani Special Express between Mumbai Central and Hazrat Nizamuddin will resume on July 3 due to the decline in Covid-19 cases and increase in the number of passengers, said an official of Ratlam Rail Division. According to railway information, train No 2953 Mumbai central to Hazrat Nizamuddin will run from July 3 while train No 2954 Hazrat Nizamuddin to Mumbai central will recommence from July 4 till further orders.
Railway press release informed today that the running of the 5301/5302 Gorakhpur-Bandra terminus special train has been extended till July. As per previous announcement of the Western Railway running of the special train between Gorakhpur-Bandra terminus was to end on July 2 from Gorakhpur and July 3 from Bandra terminus . Railway informed said that train No 5301 from Gorakhpur to Bandra Terminus will also run on July 9 and July 16 while train No 5302 from Bandra terminus to Gorakhpur will also run on July 10 and July 17.
Railway information said that Train No 9049 from Mumbai Central to Samastipur will further run on July 3,5,6,8,10 and train No 9050 Samastipur –Mumbai central special train will also run on July 5,7,8,10 and 12 with the new composition of the coaches including one second cum third AC,15 sleeper and six general class coaches.
Railway press release informed that train No 9117 from Mumbai central to Bhagalpur will also run on July 9 while train No 9118 Bhagalpur to Mumbai Central will further run on July 12 with new composition of the coaches including one second cum third AC coach, 15 sleeper and six general coaches. Likewise, train No 9177 from Mumbai central to Bhagalpur will also run on July 16 and train No 9178 Bhagalpur to Mumbai central will also run on July 19.
