Indore : Fed up with inaction MGM Medical College administration over misbehaviour with four students by the peon, the students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy Department have warned the college administration that they would lodge a police complaint against the peon and vice principal of the college, in case no action is taken, adding that they would also protest in front of Divisional Commissioner’s office.

The students have also decided to lodge a police complaint against the accused peon and the vice principal of the department.

Dean Dr Pushpa Verma had assured the students for constituting a committee to probe in the highly sensitive matter of alleged teasing with the four girl students of second year but she didn’t go on her words even and have delayed the matter.

The HoD of physiotherapy and orthopaedics department Dr Pradeep Bhargava had also tried to save the accused by writing a letter to the Dean informing about the actions taken against him.

But, the victim students claimed that no action has been taken against the peon who had allegedly locked the girls in the department after serving them intoxicated cold drinks.

“We are fed up of complaining with the college administration and they have not taken any action against the accused. The Dean had directed us to become Mardaanis but she too has failed to take any action in the sensitive matter,” one of the four victim girls said.

She further said that they will stage a demonstration at Divisional Commissioner’s office and will also lodge a complaint against the accused.

“If no action would be taken against the accused in two-three days, we will lodge a police complaint. Our parents send us to study in the college but we are not even safe here because of such incidents,” she added.
