Ujjain: A corona-free India will only become reality with the vaccination of maximum population of India. Awareness about vaccination will take us towards a healthy India and we will again be able to see our country on the path of prosperity and progress.

These views were expressed by microbiology professor†Varsha Kumawat in a webinar on Vaccination Awareness organised in Bhartiya College on Tuesday. She said that the vaccine will not only protect oneself from Covid-19 but will also keep others safe.

Vaccination is the only way out of the pandemic. She said that vaccination consists of weak or inactive organs of an organism, which identify the bodyís immune system and make antibodies to fight the disease. Vaccines are tested very seriously before being used in common people, so there should not be any kind of fear in applying the vaccine, Kumawat said.

Principal of the college Dr Neelam Mahadik and academic director Dr Girish Pandya also participated in the webinar. On this occasion Dr Seema Dubey, Dipika Pathak, Dr Rajkumari Batham, Drishti Chavda, Surbhi Chauhan, Dr Rehana Sheikh, Dr Megha Sharma and Navratna Rathore and students were present online.
