Indore : Rajendra Nagar police on Tuesday booked two youths in the murder of a man took place about one and half month ago.
According to Rajendra Nagar police, Vishwanath (36), a resident of Anand Nagar, was found injured in Dutt Nagar about one and half months ago and he succumbed during treatment in the hospital.
“During preliminary investigation it was believed that he met with an accident but the autopsy report cleared that he was killed by hitting his head with a hard object,” the police said.
Family members of the deceased claimed that Vishwanath was last seen with Ravi and Rohit, residents of New Bheem Nagar, who had taken Vishwanath with them.
“Investigation confirmed that Vishwanath was killed by the duo by hitting with a stone in Dutt Nagar area. The accused left him injured in the area and fled from the scene,” the police said.A case of murder has been registered against the duo and the police launched a manhunt to catch the accused.
