Indore : Thieves broke into a house in Adarsh Moulik Nagar, on Thursday night, sprayed chemical to render the family unconscious and stole valuables.
According to the police, the theft occurred in the house of Satyanarayan Mourya. On Thursday night. The burglars entered the house, sprayed chemicals to render the family members unconscious and then stole gold and silver ornaments along with Rs 30,000 cash.
The thieves also ate food in the kitchen, while the family members were sleeping under influence of the chemicals. While leaving, they tried to take away Activa scooter with them. But, Mourya woke up and raised an alarm forcing the thieves to flee.
The thieves also burgled Mourya’s brother’s shop adjacent to his house. The thieves appeared to be members of Pardi gang. Police have registered cases and are investigating the thefts.
