Indore : Large number people gathered in the District Hospital on Wednesday to see the acts of a tantric, who was trying to bring to life a youth, who fell to snakebite. The tantric was performing his acts with a dead snake in the post-mortem room of the hospital.
Later, the hospital staff forced the tantric out of the post-mortem room and also dispersed the crowd.
Bablu Chuahan, a resident of Sirpur Kankad, died of snakebite on Tuesday night. His family members said that the snake stayed at the spot till Wednesday morning after biting Bablu and was later killed by local residents. The family members sought the help of tantric with a belief that Bablu would breathe again. However, all the efforts of the tantric proved futile and he returned after an hour. Later, the doctors conducted the autopsy and handed over the body to the relatives.
