Indore : A 45-year-old woman died of swine flu infection here, taking the number of deaths due to the H1N1 virus in the city this year to three, a district health official said on Wednesday. The woman passed away on Tuesday at a private hospital.

, Integrated Disease Surveillance Project in-charge Dr G L Sodhi said.

“She was admitted to Choithram Hospital and her samples were sent on Monday evening. Her swab samples on Wednesday confirmed that she was suffering from H1N1 virus.” Another woman is undergoing treatment for swine flu and her condition is serious. A total of six cases of swine flu have been reported here so far. Sodhi further said that no new case of dengue was found on Wednesday.
