Indore : A committee constituted by the state government to probe into the charges labelled by a student of Al-Farooq Unani Medical College against its principal will record his statement on Wednesday.
In a letter to the student Saddam Hussein, Government Ashtang Ayurved College principal Babul Tamrakar, who is probing the matter, asked him to record his statement on Wednesday.
Saddam alleged that the principal of his college Salim Akhtar had assaulted him for reportedly objecting to the donation demanded by the college administration for granting admission.
Khajrana police had booked Akhtar for non-cognisable offence under Sections 504 and 323 on the complaint of Saddam. Later, Saddam had also lodged complaints with the state government and DAVV as well.
According to Saddam, he along with his brother went to the college for admission in BUMS course when the college demanded hefty donation from him.
As he objected to the demand, the college principal hurled abuses and assaulted him.
It was learnt that the principal was not happy with Saddam as he had previously got a sting operation conducted on him wherein the former was allegedly captured in camera demanding Rs 1.37 lakh fee, including course fee of Rs 70000 and the rest amount as donation for granting admission in the BUMS course.
