Indore : Flouting academic norms, Softvision College is charging registration fee from ex-students, who got ATKT in certain subjects, to forward their forms.

Two BBA ex-students of the college turned up at Jan Sunwai in Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya on Tuesday and lodged a written complaint about this with the university’s officers.

The duo told the varsity officers that the college is asking for Rs 2000 to forward their examination forms even when the fee for the same is merely Rs 100.

Taken aback by the information, exam controller Ashesh Tiwari said that they would issue a notice to the college seeking its response on the allegations.

Tiwari said that there is no provision for charging any registration fee from ex-students. Over the issue, Manjusha of the college management was called up but she did not take the call.

Meanwhile, students of BDS third professional lodged their protest over the delay in revaluation and review results. They requested to declare their results before November 28 so that they are not forced to fill examination forms for the upcoming exams.

November 28 is the last date to submit examination forms. The university authorities informed the students that reevaluation of their answer books is underway and that the results could not be declared before a fortnight.

They suggested the students to fill the examination forms so that they do not miss the upcoming exams in case of negative reevaluation results.

Citing CM, woman threatens varsity officers regarding results

Claiming that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had sought a complaint through email from her against DAVV, a woman on Tuesday threatened to post the mail if the review result of her son is not announced immediately. The result was ready so it was shown to her but the woman hogged limelight as cameras of newsmen rolled while she issued a threat in the name of the CM. She told the officer that her son works at the airport and the CM is familiar to him. During his last visit, I have informed the CM about delay in the results by DAVV and he had sought a complaint via email, she told reporters.
