Indore : Now you don’t have to face trouble for getting your driving licence and the High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) for your vehicle as the Regional Transport Officer has given permission to the local officials of Link Utsav Company to start the work again.
Now, the company will start affixing the HSRP to the vehicles and will start the work from the pending vehicles. The company officials have already re-opened its centres.
According to sources, the local officers of Link Utsav Company approached RTO Jitendra Raghuvanshi on Wednesday and showed him the stay orders given by the High Court, Gwalior Bench, along with the orders given by senior transport officers.
“After going through the orders and the documents presented by the officials, the RTO has given them a nod to start the work once again in the city,” RTO sources said.
Source further said that the company will work on its old set-up and would start the work in next few days. It is to be noted that the Transport Commissioner had cancelled the agreement with Link Utsav Company on the directions of the transport minister.
The decision to cancel the agreement was taken after getting myriads of complaints against the poor work of the company.
After the termination of the agreement, the company officials knocked the doors of the court and got the stay orders.
It is to be noted that the Link Utsav Company was blacklisted in many others states.
