Ratlam: Janta curfew to continue on Sundays, night curfew to remain in force

Ratlam: As unlocking process is set to kick in from June 1, district administration on Monday clarified that Janta Curfew would remain in force on Sundays. The curfew would start from 10pm on Saturday and continue to Monday 6am. The district would remain under night curfew from 10pm to 6am.

All shops would remain closed from 7pm on Friday till 6am on Monday. However, medical, milk, vegetable- fruit, gas agency and petrol pump would remain open.

District administration said that district’s positivity rate has remained above 5%. Hence, 25% of shops, other than restricted activities, would be allowed from 7AM to 5 PM. A decision would be taken in consultation with traders’ association.

Weekly review would be held to discuss further relaxation or restriction on activities. It would be mandatory to obtain permission for wedding seven days in advance. Hence, there would be no marriage ceremony till June 7.

In the city area standalone shops of kirana would be allowed from 7AM to 5 PM. Home delivery would be allowed from 11AM to 5 PM. Fertilizers, seeds and agri equipments’ shops would be allowed to be opened from 6AM to 5 PM. Restaurants would be allowed for home delivery for which RTPCR test of delivery person would be mandatory.

40 teams to ensure compliance of Covid-19 protocol

Ratlam: Administration has formed 40 teams for city area to ensure strict implementation of Covid-19 protocol from June 1. Officials urged people to follow social distancing and Covid-19 protocol as few activities would be allowed from June 1. Offices, other than essential services, would be allowed to function with 100% officials and 50% staff. Not more than six people would be allowed to assemble at a place.
