Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Government offices are set to reopen with 50% of staff from June 1 to 15. The administration issued the order on Sunday. The presence of officers, however, will be 100%. Before June 15, the situation will be reviewed again, and a decision taken accordingly. The presence of officers and employees dealing with the emergency services will be 100%.

According to the president of the Mantralaya Employees’ Union, Sudhir Nayak, the offices should be gradually reopened. He said that the officers should follow the guidelines. As the officers do not follow the guidelines, the infection spreads, he said.

Physically challenged and pregnant women should not be called to offices, he added. According to Nayak, it would have been better had the offices been reopened with 25% of the staff. The government should think that there should not be a resurgence of Covid-19.
