Indore : The MY Hospital administration and Laxmi Fumigation and Pest Control Company officials have claimed that there are more than 10,000 rats in the MY Hospital campus and also patted themselves for starting a pest control programme. But, they couldn’t even kill 3000 rats.

On Monday, the company officials opened new OPD building after two days as general pest control was done there. The company officials only found 15 dead rats in the OPD but it was claimed that more than 100 rats were killed.

According to sources, the hospital administration is now feeling cheated as they are not getting proper output. “As per calculation on the basis of the output, the hospital administration is spending more than Rs 300 for killing one rat. They are also worried about paying maintenance fees of Rs 2 lakh per month to the company,” sources said.

However, head of LFPL Sanjay Karmakar said that they would reach the target as the internal batting is still remaining. He further said that the work of pest control in the basement of the hospital and the internal pest control will be conducted for more than a month.

Work of 6th floor completed

Renovation work of MY Hospital’s 6th floor has been completed and now the hospital administration is shifting patients from 5th floor to 6th floor. The repairing work has been started on 4th and 5th floors.
