Indore: Protesting against the proposed residential scheme by Madhya Pradesh Housing Board ( MPHB), farmers of Palakhedi village staged a demonstration in seminude state before Environment Minister Jayant Malaiya and Principal Secretary Iqbal Singh Bais here at Indore Development Authority ( IDA) on Saturday.
The farmers staged the dharna demanding that the State Government should abandon the residential scheme in the interest of the farmers. They said even the CM gave assurance in this regard too. The principal secretary pacified the farmers saying that the whole issue is in his knowledge and the state Government will take a final call on the matter soon.
