Dhamnod : A few days after the murder, Dhar district police on Thursday busted the murder case of a youth in village Bagadipura Sundren and arrested the in-laws in connection of the murder. The police have recovered the motor bike and a cloth used in the murder.
The youth Mahendra Nayak S/O Seetaram Nayak a resident of Bagdipura was allegedly bumped off by his in-laws, the accused duo Sunil S/O Bhagwan Singh Bhati caste Nayak age 40 and his wife Nirmala Bai W/O Sunil Bhati age 40 a resident of Bagadipura Sundrel over an issue of habitual beating with their daughter Pinki. As per the information received from Dhar SP Rajesh Hingankar, through an investigation some clues were received by the police including tyre print of a motorbike and foot prints left due to dragging the body between the place where the body was found and the house of the deceased’s in-laws.
Many witnesses mentioned that the deceased Mahendra was saying about having dinner at his in-laws on the night of his murder. To divert the attention of the police from his crime, the accused father-in-law Sunil Bhati accompanied the police team whole time.
A special team comprised of the police station in-charge Dhamnod S R Soner, assistant sub inspector Lokesh Chaudhary, assistant sub inspector Jakir Khan , assistant sub inspector Bramhanand Chauhan, head constable Padma Singh Bhati, constable Dilip, constable 301, constable Mahesh and constable Meharban Singh was formed following instructions of SP Rajesh Hingankar under the guidance of ASP Bittu Sahgal. The city SP Pithampur Vikram Singh formed the team.
During the investigation, the team became suspicious over the activities of the in-laws. The team conducted an interrogation session with the in-laws during which the in-laws accepted about killing their son-in-law by strangulating him. The accused, in attempt to hide the evidences, shifted the motor bike used to take the body away from their house and burnt the piece of cloth in an iron utensil. For busting the blind murder case, SP Hingankar congratulated the team and announced an award.
