MHOW: Seeing rainy season has already knocked but the district is not in any position to deal with the possibility of natural disaster taking place. The level of disaster management against fire breaking out, flood or dry is very poor and pathetic. The district is still ready with the ways which were used in the times of the British rule. The true picture of the capability of disaster management was revealed accidently in the incident of fire breaking at the house of Bohara family. The fire brigades of Manpur, Mhowgaon and Mhow reached to quench the fire but not even single trained officer or employee was on the team. After reaching the spot, the employees and officers were seen struggling to rescue the people and put off the fire from the high building. That was the reason that even after reaching to the spot immediately not much could be done.
