Mandsaur: City Congress demands data of healthy and dead Covid patients, moves applications under RTI

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): The city Congress unit has sought data from March 1, 2021 to June 7, 2021, of Covid patients admitted and those who recovered and died along with their names and addresses.

Acting City Congress president Dr Raghvendra Singh Tomar submitted separate applications under Right to Information in offices of Chief Medical and Health Officer and Civil Surgeon on Monday in this regard.

During second Covid wave, a large number of people died untimely deaths but their families are running from pillar to post to prove that they died due to Covid-19.

Through the applications, he has demanded names and addresses of corona patients who were admitted, who died during treatment at all Covid centres, hospitals, primary health centres from March 1, 2021 to June 7, 2021.

According to Dr Tomar, people who died in the second wave of Covid-19 are being deliberately concealed by the government. As soon as the information about the Right to Information is received, public interest litigation will be filed in Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court so that families of all the deceased citizens can get the desired help from the government.
