Indore: City police on Wednesday booked a person for embezzling a businessman of Rs 10 lakh in the name of sending his money to a Gujarat-based trader. Heeralal Bafna of South Tukoganj approached Tukoganj police station and lodged a complaint that he had given money to one Kirtibhai Patel to deliver it to Navrang Machinery in Ahmedabad a few days ago, but Patel did not deliver the money.
Later, Bafna reached Patel’s office in Pushpak Apartment in South Tukoganj and found the office locked. His mobile phone was also switched off. Bafna suspected that Patel did not deliver the money at Ahmedabad and ran away with cash. Police have registered a case against the accused and started a search for him.
