KFC comes under radar during Operation Vishudh

Indore :  The district administration’s action against adulteration continued under Operation Vishudh for fourth day on Saturday.

Four SDMs collected 12 samples from 7 establishments, including the International chain of food restaurants, KFC.

Eight restaurant owners in Gangwal Bus Stand area were also fined up to Rs 50,000 for failing to meet the requirements of Municipal Corporation Act.

SDMs Santosh Tagore, Sapna Jain, Anupama Ninama and Sapna Shiwale lead the action teams.

A team led by SDM Spna Jain conducted action against Madhuliman based KFC restaurants and collected sample of bun and frozen dessert.

The team raided Rock and Roll Entertainment, Madhumilan and collected samples of mango juice and paneer; Monika Ice-cream, Annapurna and tool sample vanilla ice-cream and ice-candy; Malwa Food, Pologround and collected samples of ghee and dairy whitener; Gangwal Beverages, Rajiv Gandhi Square and took samples of Aqua Wave packaged water bottles and pouches; Nakoda Restaurant Gangwal stand to take samples of lassi and Hello Ice-cream, Malharganj, collecting samples of ice-cream.
