Jhabua: Triple murder at Jhaknawad village, police say it may due to dispute over 7-bigha farm land deceased owned

On Friday morning, villagers saw their blood drenched bodies at hut. During preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that three were murdered by crushing their heads with stones.

Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Jhaknawad village witnessed sensational triple murder case as three persons, including a woman and a minor were found murdered at their place.

Incident took place in Boriya hamlet under Jhaknawad village where three persons including Pagliya Damor, 50, his wife Fundibai Damor, 42 and Kanya Damor, 12, were found murdered at hut near Ramdevji temple. According to local police, incident took place on intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

Jhabua superintendent of police Ashutosh Gupta, forensic expert Dr S Mujaldar, finger print expert GS Rawat and other senior officials rushed to the spot as soon they received information about the crime. Police sent bodies for post-mortem and began investigation into the matter.

Local residents said Pagaliya lived with his wife and 12-year-old Kanya whose father Dilip died couple of years back. After his demise, Kanya lived with Pagaliya and his wife. Pagaliya owned seven-bigha agriculture land located near hill and earned through donation received at the temple.

On Friday morning, villagers saw their blood drenched bodies at hut. During preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that three were murdered by crushing their heads with stones. Prima facie, it appears to be family land dispute behind the murder, police said.
