Indore : Madhya Pradesh Medical University, Jabalpur (MPMSU) has announced plans to hold first professional exams of MBBS and BDS courses from September 15.
It will be the maiden exams by the medical university wherein around 3000 students from across the state, including students of MGM Medical College and Government Dental College in Indore, will participate.
The decision to hold exams in September was taken in a recent meeting of senior administrative officials. The timetable will be announced soon.
MPMSU vice chancellor Dr DP Lokwani said, “We have decided to hold MBBS and BDS first prof exam from September 15 and declare result by October end as per the deadlines of Medical Council of India.”
He said that the university has accord top priority to the exams and put the developmental projects of the university on backseat. Established in 2011, the university is facing infrastructure and staff related problems.
“The sanctioned posts are filled through deputations. But the officials deployed in the university are nor reporting,” said Lokwani.
