Indore : “We are planning for intermodal connectivity to AiCTSL, which will include integrated fare collection facility for all the cities around Indore,” CEO of Telerickshaw Karanvir Singh said during a face-to-face interaction with this reporter on Saturday.
Singh was here to guide Prestige Institute of Management Studies (PIMR) start-up enthusiasts and further discuss the application of intermodal connectivity in MP.
Singh disclosed that after starting a project on automation of rickshaws using telerickshaw and government tie-ups, he is planning to connect various modes of public transport for the traveller’s conveyance. “With the functioning of our intermodal connectivity app, a tourist can find connected modes of different transports and safely commute across the state,” he said.
Further, the idea expands to integrated fair collection, where government authorities would be monitoring the travel and providing a service of collective payment of fair. “Integrated fare collection will ease public transport and provide quality services to the customers, and this will be first movers’ advantage for the government,” Singh quoted.
Singh is the owner of two successful start-ups, i.e. Crystal Zeal Technologies and Telerickshaw, and is working on 21 new ones.
Sharing his insight on start-ups he said, “Start-ups are a no lose opportunity for youngsters, and they should claim it, because they are increasing opportunity costs by delaying their dreams.”
Singh started his career from Indore in 2013 and further expanded it to Bangalore last year. He started as a freelancer. “As a freelancer, it is a struggle and the trick to become a success is work for free or invest,” he said.
Talking about his experiences, he said, “The most challenging time for me was when I quit my job and had to deal with peer pressure.” He eased out of all the troubles because of his focused approach towards his target.
He concluded with an advice, “Don’t get emotionally attached to your products, be emotionally intelligent and give your 100% effort.”
