Indore: Two minors arrested for stealing mobile phones from trucks

Indore: Seven persons, including two minors were nabbed by the police for mobile phone snatching and stealing from truck drivers on Bypass Road on Sunday. Eleven mobile phones and a firearm were also recovered from them. They are being questioned further.  Additional Superintendent of Police Dr Prashant Choubey said two bikers were searched by Tejaji Nagar police station staff after they had threatened a man after firing a bullet on Tejaji Nagar Bridge on March 11. 2019.

Police have booked the unidentified persons under Sections 308, 393, 34 of IPC. A police team was deployed on Ralamandal Square for checking on Sunday when two bikers sped away after seeing the police. The police cordoned off the area and managed to arrest them. They allegedly confessed to have threatened a person on Tejaji Nagar with the intension to rob him. A loaded country made pistol, 11 mobile phones, two bikes and a cutter were also recovered from them. Accused have been identified as Rajesh More, Ranjeet, Rajesh Chogne, Rahul Dhrupal, Sonu Sahu and two of their minor accomplices.
