Indore: Three including minor boy arrested, 8 stolen bikes recovered

They were caught by police while carrying illicit liquor on the bike from two places

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested three persons including a minor boy while they were carrying illicit liquor from two places late on Wednesday night. The accused have allegedly confessed to stealing bikes from different places in the city.

Following inputs, police seized eight stolen two-wheeler vehicles. The police said that the accused were being questioned to ascertain their roles in other crimes.

In charge of Hira Nagar police station Abhay Nema said, police teams were deployed at the main roads for vehicles checking in the area. During vehicle checking, two persons from two different checking points were nabbed for carrying illicit liquor. Following information, the police arrested one more accused, who was part of the gang.

The accused were identified as Sandeep Dawar, a resident of Gauri Nagar, Lakhan Namdev of Kandilpura area and a minor. During the course of the interrogation, the accused revealed that they had stolen eight vehicles from Hira Nagar, Malharganj and other localities of the city.
