Indore: Indian Institute of Technology Indore organised its 1st in-house symposium on “advances in biosciences and bioengineering” on Sunday. Dr Sanjeev Shukla from IISER Bhopal delivered key note talk followed by a presentation from senior PhD students on a diverse range of topics. All research group students of bioscience and bioengineering presented their research work.
Additionally, all research group presented posters on ongoing projects. An interdisciplinary event was also held in which interface of biology, medicine, chemistry, physics and system biology approaches were narrated. Three best oral awards and three best poster awards were also presented to students. The event succeeded in its purpose of providing a platform to present, discuss, learn and setting the stage for future collaboration.
