Indore: Three days after NSUI activists misbehaved with DAVV vice chancellor Dr Narendra Dhakad, students’ leaders claiming to be of Youth Congress vandalised office of Indore division additional director (higher education) KN Chaturvedi over students union elections held in 2017.

The agitators also misbehaved with the staff of AD office and hurled abuses on them. Student union elections were held about one-and-a-half-years ago at colleges in MP. A student leader Nikhil Verma, who claims that he is secretary of Youth Congress, had filed a complaint with AD office claiming that the elections were not held fairly at a private college.

Days after his complaint, the AD office had made it clear to the complainant that inquiry revealed that his complaint was untrue. Nikhil reached AD office and sought to know what made him reach a conclusion that his complaint was untrue. Stating that he does not remember the case, the AD told the complainant that he should come some other day as he was leaving for Ujjain. After AD left, Nikhil along with his supporters took to ransacking.

The protestors also misbehaved with his staff and abused them. They threatened the staff of getting them transferred as Congress party has come to power now and they belong to Youth Congress. However, Youth Congress senior leader Deepak Joshi denied that Nikhil is member of Youth Congress.
