Indore: Sanjeevani Helpline of Indore police saved a 35-year-old man from attempting suicide. Help Line officials informed about the incident on Tuesday. According to police, 35-year-old man, a resident of Vijay Nagar, recently contacted officials of ‘Sanjeevani – Ek kadam jeevan ki aur Help Line’. The man claimed that he was suffering from severe depression and wants to commit suicide. The officials counselled him on phone and asked to visit their office.

During counselling, the man said he hails from Indore but currently works in a company in Pune. He alleged that increased involvement of his mother-in-law in their family affairs led to frequent disputes with his wife.

As the disputes intensified, his wife left him and started living in Indore. Meanwhile, the man was unable to focus on his work and he came back to Indore to convince his wife to solve the dispute. But it didn’t help. The troubled man decided to end his life but could not gather the courage. He then contacted help line officials. The officials gave him counselling session with help of psychiatrist and solved dispute with his wife as well.
