Indore: Retired teacher donates 1.5L for corona warriors, Armymen

Mhow (Rau): A veteran teacher has come forward to help corona warriors and soldiers.

In the second wave of coronavirus there were many NGOs and individuals who came forward to help the needy ones.

Nirmala Vidhya Prasad, 80-year-old, a retired teacher on Frida gave Rs 1.5 lakh to the district administration for the corona warriors and soldiers of Indian Army. She gave a cheque of one lakh rupees for Indian soldiers and Rs 50,000 for the corona warrior to SDM Rau Pratul Chandra Sinha.

Talking to Free Press, Nirmala Vidhya Prasad, “We should respect the dedication of the soldiers and their families involved in protecting the borders of the country and the spirit of sacrificing their lives as well to secure the country.”

She further added, “After my retirement, I have been continuously helping the needy ones during their tough time. I have given Rs 1.5 lakh to the administration and now I am planning to give 25,000 rupees to Safai Karamchari who are keeping the city neat and clean."Attachments area
