Indore: Provident Fund officials inspect five premises of two cos

Indore: Officers of Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) carried out inspection of five premises of two companies on Wednesday. The firms were not implementing PF schemes for their employees.

According to official information, the officials inspected Dewas Naka located Kamco Chew Food Private Limited and GRV Confectionary & Foods Pvt Ltd. During primary investigation, it was found that the company had brought very few employees under the scheme. They did physical verification of staff and also checked documents of both companies and video recorded the action. The action was carried out on classified information of intelligence wing of the organisation. The inspection was carried out under New Employees Enrolment Scheme. State PF Commissioner Ajay Mehra described the action as routine. The organisation is continuously encouraging employers through seminars and workshops to get enrolled in the scheme before March 31. He warned that such action would be conducted against errant employers.
