Indore: Printing mistake in the paper shocked students in CBSE class XII board accountancy examination conducted on Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm. Students panicked when a six-mark question appeared misprinted.
Educators pointed out more printing glitches in the paper that confused students and even made many conscious of their answers. The major error was in a question where students were asked to prepare ‘revaluation account’ instead of ‘realisation account.’
“The paper was not tough but was very lengthy and confusing,” student Sannya Chabbra said. She talked about typing error that caused her to rethink her answer.
“Few questions were too difficult, otherwise I could attempt the paper properly. But it was too lengthy,” student Anshika Bajaj said. She felt happy and good about completing the paper in time. “All the sets were almost similar with no major difference,” student Divyanshi Patel said. She is hoping to score well but not 100 percentile.

“CBSE has been testing concept learning and application by students in board exams. Students’ reaction after exam was good but for those who want to score 80, it was not easy. One 6-mark question had a printing mistake. Now, it will depend on CBSE how it will compensate. Overall, question paper was good. Students can score good marks.”
