Indore: Freakish weather continued on Wednesday as the temperature of the city has seen three different types of weather conditions in last 48 hours. The weather conditions were hot till Tuesday but with sudden change in conditions, the city sky was covered with clouds and drizzles lashed several parts of the city.
Resultantly, the city reeled under cold winds on Wednesday and the temperature dropped several notches below the normal. Meanwhile, meteorological department officials said temperature will remain uncertain in next couple of days as the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh received rain on Tuesday and that may affect city weather as well.
“Winds blowing from north and north west direction is taking its toll on day temperature while the night temperature on Tuesday remained high due to cloudy atmosphere. The changes in wind pattern and activities in northen part of the state may pull down the temperature,” weatherman said.
City’s day temperature on Wednesday hovered around 25 degrees Celsius. In the evening, cold winds brought back the chill. The maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius which was five degrees Celsius below normal while the minimum temperature was recorded at 14.2 degrees Celsius which was two degrees Celsius above the normal.
