Indore: MP to get major benefits in GST law review panel meet

Indore: At the end of the three-day-long meeting of the GST Law Review Committee held in the city, the state received major success in making the decisions in favour of it. The decisions will be disclosed in the meeting of the GST council. However, the decision will benefit a lot in increasing the revenue of the state.

The meeting was attended by 10 SGST Commissioner of 10 state, 2 officers of GSTN, 3 commissioners of GST Council, and 10 officers from Central Excise Department. Significance of holding the meeting in the city can be understood by the fact that for the first time it was organized outside New Delhi.

The state’s SGST Commissioner DK Ahuja and Joint Commissioner Sudip Gupta had a huge role in getting the meeting here.
At the end of the meeting, top ranking officers of SGST department told this correspondent that the committee discussed over more than 25 proposals-suggestions in-depth. It made recommendations to GST Implementation Committee, which will forward it to GST Council, which will take the final call on the recommendations.
