An LIC officer was stabbed to death under Dwarkapuri police station on Wednesday thus blowing city police claim of tightening noose around criminals to smithereens’. The LIC officer was identified as Yatin Madhavrao Dhule(52) of Suryadev Nagar.  According to CSP Akhilesh Renwal, “While returning from office, Yatin stopped at an ATM near Shubham Hospital at Dwarkapuri Square. A few miscreants were creating ruckus outside the ATM. They attacked Jatin as soon as he came out of the ATM.”

Rajesh Kumawat of Shanti Nagar, who had come to Dwarkapuri to deliver a tiffin, tried to save Yatin but also came under attack from miscreants. Yatin had already lost a large amount of blood before he could reach hospital and doctors declared him brought dead. Police are yet to ascertain the number of miscreants involved in the incident as they had fled from scene as locals rushed to spot. He is survived by his wife and two children.
