Indore: Now, every health officer in the district will have to share his location and work done for any project or scheme online for real time monitoring.
Health minister Tulsi Silawat on Wednesday launched ‘Dayitva’ mobile application for real time monitoring of inspection and other health schemes and projects.
According to chief medical and health officer Dr Pravin Jadia, the application will be installed in mobile phones of all health officers. It will help department in keeping real time track of inspection done by health officers and also about the works done under specific scheme.
He said requirement of application is due to mounting complaints against health officers who submit reports “without going on ground”.
“We were getting complaints that officials prepare inspection reports while sitting in offices. The application will help in real time monitoring of their works, as they will have to share their location and photos of work done,” he said.
The application was launched by heath minister with assurance that it will start across the state if proved successful in Indore district. Hospital inspection, PHC inspection, immunisation work and other health campaigns can be monitored through app.
