Indore: For Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, deadline for submitting self-study report is April 19

Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), which is hopeful of improving its accreditation status from existing Grade A to Grade A+, would have to submit self-study report (SSR) in National Assessment and Accreditation Council by April 19.  As per information, the university has yet not started preparing the report.  If it fails to submit the report within time limit, it would lose right to retain existing accreditation status till the new one is granted.

DAVV had submitted Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA) report on January 28. The university received acceptance of IIQA on March 4. After that, it had 45 days time, that is, till April 19 to submit SSR in NAAC. According to sources, the university has not started collecting information. After gathering the information, it would have to prepare final draft and submit the same by April 19.

After SSR is submitted, the NAAC would send its peer team to DAVV for review of its standards. Based on its report, the grade of the university would be decided. In 2014, DAVV had scored 3.09 on the scale of 4 and secured Grade A accreditation. The university is eyeing over 3.26 score to obtain Grade A + accreditation.
