Indore: Crowd growing in markets, government fiat necessary, Moghe tells CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Indore: BJP senior leader Krishnamurari Moghe requested Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who came to the city on Friday evening, to direct district administration to impose some of the Covid-19 restrictions again as crowds are increasing in the markets.

Senior leaders of BJP had gone to receive Chouhan at the airport where Moghe made the request during the conversation.

Moghe said that Covid-19 has not been defeated completely. So increasing crowd in many markets is a matter of concern. Something has to be done to check it, he added.

The CM immediately asked the administrative officers present there to ensure that the Covid-19 guidelines are followed strictly.

Moghe also requested the CM for lifting the ban on buses to Maharashtra. He said that many people are being affected due to the ban.

To this, the CM said that after reviewing Covid-19 situation district wise the bus service to/from Maharashtra will be resumed soon.

CM urges leaders not to follow him to the marriage function

Minister Tulsi Silawat, MP Shankar Lalwani, city president Gaurav Ranadive, MLAs Ramesh Mendola, Akash Vijayvargiya, Malini Gaud, former MLA Sudarshan Gupta, Jitu Jirati, Madhu Verma had reached at the airport to receive the CM. CM asked them not to company him in the marriage ceremony of MLA Surendra Patwa’s daughter as he does not want much of a gathering at the function due to Covid-19 situation.
